There is no cost to attend. My goal is to provide practical support and encouragement to parents who may be carrying more than they realize.

What will we talk about?We'll explore how our own experiences, fears, hurts, and beliefs can shape the way we respond to our children.

This workshop is educational and coaching-based. It is not therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment.
Will I have to share personal information?No.
You are welcome to participate as much or as little as you'd like.
Some parents enjoy discussion and questions. Others prefer to listen and reflect. Both are welcome.
How long is the workshop?Approximately 90 minutes, including time for questions and discussion.
How do virtual workshops work?After registering, you'll receive a confirmation email with instructions for joining the workshop.
You can participate from the comfort of your home using a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
Where are the in-person workshops held?In-person workshops are held in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Registered attendees will receive location details after registration.
What should I bring?Just yourself.
You may also want a notebook or something to write with if you'd like to capture ideas or reflections.

Who is leading the workshop?Shawn Hopkins, CTACC
Shawn is a foster and adoptive parent, International Coaching Federation Certified Coach, and host of aParently! A Podcast for Parents. He works with parents navigating foster care, adoption, trauma, transitions, and the everyday realities of parenting. He has also worked with Parents, Teens, and people experiencing homelessness for over a decade.
